We go to the fast food restaurants and eat food but we never think about  where it come from.The meatrix is

a movie which tells us about where meat comes from.New technology comes.They make factory farms here

 all animals are closely packed together.They don't get sunlight and fresh air .These conditions causes

diseases amongst animals.They give antibiotics to the animals to protect from diseases.Factory farmers

become cruel towards animals.They just think about money.Factory farms have meat packing

plant .Sometimes workers get injured due to fast meat packing.
                                                        In dairy farming the animals are living in dirty places.The tails are cut

off.they inject the artifical growth hormones injections to the animals.Their calves don't get their mothers

milk.I am not agree with factory farming.their technology is fast but the food products are not good for

 health.So we have to eat food free from any chemicals.
                                               In my conclusion,family farming is better .i know is slow process but the

food products are free from any chemicals.People should stop buying factory farm products.they should buy

Blog #3 Fast Food history

                                            


                              Burger King is known internationally fast food restaurant chain. Burger king

was found in 1953 in jacksonville florida. This chain was inspired by Mcdonald brothers. Their

original store is located in San bernardino california. In 1958 Burger king had it's first Tv add.

                            

                            The insta-broiler oven proved so successful at cooking burgers. They required

all of their franchises to carry the device. After the original company was not doing so well in

business in 1959. It was purchased by James Mclamore & David R. Edgerton. Both of them

decided to restructure the chain. That's when Burger King got its first name called Burger king

from James and David. As you can see Burger king and Mcdonald has alot of similarties. But

Burger king became to known as of their special kind of burgers called "Whoppers".

                           

                            In my words i think Burger king and Mcdonald are top two best selling fast

food restaurants in 21 century.

MY LANGUAGE LEARNER IDENTITY

This is manpreet.I was born and grew up in india.I came in U.S.A.2  years ago.I had learned punjabi and hindi languages in my country.Punjabi is my mother tongue language.I am fluent in reading,writing and speaking skills of my native language.In india when i was studying in my school ,i had learned english language but not too much because english is our second language.That's my weakness that i can't speak english fluently.I knew how to read and write english but i need to learn reading and writing skills.I want to study spanish language because in usa mostly people speak english and spanish.I prefer to read novels because it improves our reading skills.I prefer to write in for e-mails.It develops our writing skills we become faster in wrting .I prefer to use english language to academic things in essay,lab reports,bussiness documents,office work because i am living in usa and in this country english is the first language but english is little hard for me than my native  language because sometimes i am confused in using tenses.
